Take your clothes off and run.

I stopped the car, put my heavy boots on, climbed parallel with the three ‘teeth’ visible in the centre, then kept following that diagonal until the summit plateau. Or at least I would have liked to.
As someone who was born and raised in an inland town in the middle of the country, I never got used to boats, they are an almost exotic vehicle for me.

The Icelandinc authorities are very good in placing roadside stops. I also am an advanced user of the emergency “park anywhere” lights.

Those clouds were actually following us. Alone on Mars, on gravel roads, it got interesting for us.

Have a good year everyone, be at least as happy in it as this Icelandic bird was.
